YOUR WAYS
As we celebrate mothers day, women are the keepers of home and have obligation to their spouses and children and to the mighty GOD. We need to be transparent in all our ways and in honest ways in training our children in ways of LORD and be a beacon in our society. But today things are contrary.
There are women who will not allow their husbands into their monetary issues. There are also men who put their money in wardrobes, hiding it from their wives. Here, I'll tell you something honest; God called you to be joined with your wife to be one flesh. You have to be transparent with your spouse. Let your spouse know where you put your things so that, when one isn't around, the other can have access especially in needful times.
Parents are not to be hostile to their children. They should be able to know their children's problems. This can be done by letting your children in and getting them to trust you with (if not everything) most of their things. If you're transparent with your spouse, your children can learn to be transparent with you. This builds their confidence to come to you every time they need assistance or help. We should be well able to train our children in the way of Christ for a better future.
To the choleric or short-tempered, learn to be abase or put yourself in check. Words spoken cannot be taken back. Learn to speak encouraging words. Today's Christians (many by far) have no control or are not able to sieve their words. Your words bring either life, builds, encourage or death, destroy, discourage. As a Christian, when people come to you with heavy hearts, you should be able to get them to leave [feeling lighter than they came] or [with joyful a joyful heart]. Your words must be seasoned with salt; don't be reckless, judgemental and abusive in your words. "He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly."
Studying to show yourself approved isn't a matter or only hearing what God says in His Word but also putting God's word in action.
