The Race Is Not For The Swift, Nor The Strong

The Kingdom of God is like waiting for a tro-tro (Tro is amount of money you pay to get to your destination, which come as Tro-tro, which we name after commercial vehicles)  in the morning.

   My trotro experience

Catching a troski in the morning in Accra can be a very hectic and painful experience for anyone. But it has taught me a lot this morning. But brethren God works in ways. He uses any and every situation to teach us about things we didn't even think  of..

Actually what happened was, i was on my way to work and i was already late. I got to the road side and there where a lot of people already standing by the road side waiting for Tema trotro. And i was saying in my head, Oh Lord my boss will be mean to me today. But as soon as i got there, this trotro parked right in front of me and the conductor shouted! Tema last one! I ddnt look left or right i just jumped in.

You see, i got there last but i was first to get in the trotro and luckily i got to work before my boss.
As I sat and it slowly moving away, I could see the faces of those I have left behind. Some were extremely worried and some I would even say where not so happy i got into the trotro and left them there, because i was last..
Then the Holy spirit said, *You see, the race is not for the swift* I could feel Him smiling at me.
He then said, *The kingdom of God is going to be like this. There are people who think they are in the lead and already there but they should be careful lest they are overtaken by those who we think are unbelievers.*

Let us go out there and tell the world. You are not too late to be saved. Because the race is not for the swift nor the battle for the strong.

Amen!
